What is poverty of the soul?
A day without love,
with no moment of kindness or care
or other manifestation of attention,
given to the Self, by the Self.
Young children may be spoon fed by their parents
but a mature, able man should feed himself.
It is not seemly to beg
when one is able to provide for oneself and others
by the sweat of one’s brow.
We are yet children, yet we can work a little
and start to feed this hungry world.
Can Self give love to Self?
Yes!
How grand to be both, giver and receiver,
Never on earth has the lover known the beloved so.
Simply simplicity,
ever it’s own reward.
Illusion reflects something.
We go hungry amidst abundance.

This is so beautiful. So introspective. I quite like the first paragraph.
