Now I have Stopped Becoming

Now I have stopped becoming.
Now I become weaker with each passing year,
physically, but it is all too clear
that the mind too will soon cease becoming
and even courage perhaps will slowy begin to fade.

Now as worldly hope disolves the only hope is divine hope.
Hope that those memories of wonderous moments of knowing have not been lies
Hope that there is truth in those fairy tales.
Those I wrote of my own transformation.

You were right - there must be something in the air :)

At times I feel none of the human emotions are unique. Depending on our state of enlightenment/awareness, all of us go through the same spectrum of emotions when the time is right.

Thanks for the comments in my blog to let me know that I am not alone feeling this way at times.

And yes, maybe we go through the same spectrum of emotions when the time is right as what Kastoori says.

I hope that there is some truth in those fairy tales, too. I've put a lot into them. You have, too. But then many from all throughout history have lived lives according to them. Let's hope it's not all in vain!

On this long journey of yours, now that you have stopped becoming, what have you become?

Beautiful Post

Thank you Enreal,

It was only and illusion of becoming. I (mind and body) have become the nothing that I always was. About as significant as, and even less permenant than, the slightly rusty box of tools sitting on my back porch.

But there is something else here which may continue to grow forever.

Yes Sophia,

We walk with one foot in each world, sometimes one seems real and sometimes the other.

Welcome Beracahvalley,

Thanks for visiting my blog. I am glad that we have some similar experiences.

Hi Mossy,

We have met before! Remember? How is the singing?

Your poem is refreshing to me because you are trying so hard to be honest with yourself.

As you know fairy tales contain great truths. You may know the famous physicist Einstein quote:

"If you want your child to be intelligent then read them fairy stories. If you want your child to be especially intelligent then read them even more fairy stories."

Thanks for the quote Bob! I shared this quote with my kids, and they have found a new reason to make me read them one extra fairy tale each night!

Yes, I'm sure there is a truth in those fairy tales, and that those are not just fairy tales. :)

Hello Bob,

Yes I remember you. I have been reading your comments over at Sophia's place. Yes I am still trying to sing.

Trying to see another part of myself is the main reason that I write.

That Einstein guy was smarter than I thought. :)

If becoming was right then we wouldn't be human beings, but human becomings! So just being is what needs to be done!

:) Very nicely put.
